/security-review runs claude-opus-4-7 at xhigh on single-file diffs. That is previous-generation at identical pricing to opus-5 ($5/$25 per Mtok), so the same $138 spent in the 3.x era buys a better model at no extra cost.

Worth more than the cache fix in #173: routing changes what the review is capable of finding, where the TTL only changes what it costs to ask.

Not reachable from config. The pin is compiled into the claude binary (~/.local/share/claude/versions/2.1.233), alongside the effort level the skill runs at. ~/.claude/settings.json carries a top-level effortLevel: "xhigh" but no model key for this route, so neither half is settable locally. Upstream ask.

Closing: not actionable here. The model pin and the effort level both live inside the claude binary, with no settings override for this route.
